What we are looking for

You. Yes, you

ASAP is a broad coalition. Passionate practitioners and practical programmes are already making a difference in SEND provision - we’re looking for the giants’ shoulders to stand on with our megaphone and contact book.

ASAP backs people and projects with purpose. We believe that impactful, inclusive, and affordable SEND practice should not be the exception. ASAP’s mission is to drive systemic change by supporting and scaling promising models of SEND autonomy - led by those closest to the challenge. If you can show us what works, we’ll help you amplify it.

We’re looking for:

  • SEND leaders solving real problems in creative ways

  • Provisions trialling approaches with measurable impact

  • Trusts and schools with ambition to do more with autonomy

  • Ideas ready to move from pilot to platform

If that sounds like you, let’s talk. Head over to our contact page to get in touch.

What it could look like

Local EHCP Triage Team
A school-led team reviews EHCPs to check provision fit before escalation. They look to support reprofiling early - reducing tribunal risk and saving £20k+ per child. Local, lawful, learner-focused.

Commissioning Confidence
A provider co-designs a framework with an LA to review placement decisions forensically and ethically. It reduces mismatches, improves parental trust, and unlocks short term savings.

Post-16 Transitions Partnership
A trust and LA co-design supported internship pipelines, placing SEND learners into local employers. NEETs fall, inclusion rises, and lives are improved all without extra budget.

RP Start-Up Playbook
A trust documents its journey creating an in-house Resourced Provision model. From inception to opening, ASAP will smooth a path that others can follow, using quality-assured resources.

Rapid Inclusion Toolkit
One trust creates a staff CPD pack, parent comms guide, and classroom toolkit for quick-turnaround SEND support. Referrals drop. Confidence rises. Results speak. The toolkit allows other provisions to do the same.

AI-Powered Needs Profiling
A partnership uses AI to analyse school
data and identify unmet SEND needs early. Early flags = faster support =
fewer EHCPs. Tech that actually helps and is hardwired for security.
